Thermal reports are generated when a test specimen is physically attached to a wall and thermocouples are installed to measure the actual about of heat (BTU's) that is lost with a standard temperature differential.
We are transparent with our engineering data because we know the value of our windows. For those that are so inclined, go to

The Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) measures how well a window blocks heat from sunlight. The SHGC is the fraction of the heat from the sun that enters through a window. SHGC is expressed as a number between 0 and 1. The lower a window''s SHGC, the less solar heat it transmits. Put another way, the lower the SHGC, the more resistant to solar heat gain.
